Institution of minor literature of Francophone literature before 1945
Keywords:
literary institution; Vietnamese Francophone literature; minority literature; literature before 1945Abstract
Before 1945, there were only a few French-speaking Vietnamese authors. G. Deuleze coined the term "minor literature" to describe this type of group of authors. This sociological concept allows us to identify and consider these authors as part of Vietnamese literature before the Revolution. The article therefore proposes reflecting on the minority of the French-speaking literary institution to answer questions such as, "What is the minority of the French-speaking literary institution?" How does education contribute to the formation of this institution? What types of literary institutions exist? What is the relationship between this institution and other major institutions?
